Yunnan Academy of Building Research Co., Ltd., formerly known as Yunnan Academy of Building Research (hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Academy of Building Science"), was founded in 1958 and is the only comprehensive scientific research, development and technical service institution in the construction industry in Yunnan Province. Yunnan Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Station Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Institute of Construction Sciences, which is restructured from the Yunnan Construction Engineering Quality Supervision and Inspection Station (the only testing institution authorized and recognized by the Yunnan Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision in the construction industry in Yunnan Province), and has all special and witness sampling testing qualifications for construction projects issued by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, green building and building energy-saving testing qualifications, highway engineering comprehensive grade A qualifications issued by the Ministry of Transport, and water conservancy testing grade B qualifications. The metrological certification projects cover 3397,<> parameters, leading the province in testing capabilities.
