Thermal Desorption (TD) is based on the principle that the sample to be measured (volatile and semi-volatile components) are adsorbed in a sampling tube with adsorbent material for enrichment, then heated to the sampling tube to desorb the volatile and semi-volatile components from the adsorbent material, and carried the desorbed components into the gas chromatography for analysis. The thermal desorption/desorption unit is a device used to achieve the thermal desorption/desorption sampling. Based on whether the volatile and semi-volatile components are desorbed from the sampling tube and then concentrated by cold focusing, the thermal desorption unit is divided into a primary and a secondary thermal desorption unit. The sample components desorbed from the sample tube were concentrated and enriched in the secondary thermal desorption unit. The sample components after concentration were imported into the gas chromatography with a small amount of gas to improve the sampling efficiency and obtain a better peak shape spectrum.
